Real Sounds of Naptime

This print is composed of ink drawings of my son made while he sleeps. Every pose was real. So was every sound. We were unprepared for all of them.

The Story

It has been three months of being a parent. Every day I draw our little Rohan as a way to see him better. I watch his little chest rise and fall when he sleeps. I observe how he changes positions. I listen to his many sounds, some soft and some quite loud. I know many young parents who observe their young children with the same deep attention and care. But not all of them draw, so this one is for them.

In the first couple of weeks, his sounds alarmed us. We would wake up every few minutes to make sure he was doing okay. This print is a record of those early days, and the memories that have become fuzzier with the passage of time.

Note: 100% of the proceeds from this print will go towards buying diapers for our little Rohan.

Shipping and returns

Orders are dispatched within 3-5 days working days. Thereafter, they should arrive within 1 to 4 days to the UK/Europe, in 2 to 5 days to North America and 5 to 7 days for Australia/New Zealand. Other destinations may vary - please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery. Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email.

Our printing company is 100% carbon neutral and all our packaging is environment friendly. Everything is either recyclable or biodegradable and that includes the stickers, tape, compostable bubble wrap as well as the frame edge protectors used.
